Egg

This was the first project I worked on with my partner - Ailse, who was working for Egg at the time. Our brainstorming lasted for an explosive couple of weeks as we both have big heads and thats about the time it took us to understand the product and figure out the concept. The end result, I believe, was something special - we created a virtual world (or large city) in which we were guided round by a live presenter who was merged into the city via chroma keying. The guide would hold the Users as he explored the virtual world of financial products and advice that sought to simplify financial jargon and knowledge.

The CD-Rom was authored with Flash (5 I think), the city was created in 3DStudio and Premier and After FX were used for the final cutting and finesses.

There is another reason why this project is special to me and thats Marc. He was the actor who played the live presenter. During the live action shoot in some very cold country barn studio with a blue screen down one side we became the best of mates and he is Godfather to my beautiful son Aidan and remains a loyal friend (even though I have moved to Spain!).

Anyway, below are the project screens. I am hoping to create a version thats playable on the web soon but the video files are huge and I am still working on it.
